Yearly the AFCEA International, a professional association that connects people, ideas, and solutions globally, and the U.S. Naval Institute, an independent forum for those who seek to advance and strengthen the naval profession, come together to co-sponsor the WEST Conference

WEST 2022 marks the conference’s 32nd year of bringing military and industry leaders together to explore current and future naval platforms and technologies. It is the premier sea services conference and exposition on the West Coast. This year, WEST 2022 will take place from February 16th to February 18th at California’s San Diego Convention Center

Join SKYTRAC at WEST 2022

SKYTRAC will be attending WEST 2022 to leverage the opportunity as an industry leader to learn about military requirements and connect with decision-makers and operators in a professional environment.

As the WEST conference connects industry professionals who design and build the platforms, equipment, and weapons with the communications and technical systems designers, SKYTRAC is excited to discuss its satellite communication terminals, connectivity, and mission-critical capabilities.

Backed with over 35 years of experience, SKYTRAC delivers reliable, scalable, redundant, and scalable satellite connectivity solutions with a host of capabilities built for the unique requirements of militaries and governments.

SKYTRAC’S 2-MCU Satellite Data Unit, the SDL-350, features bold new capabilities and a 150x multiplier in bandwidth set to enable the next generation of pole-to-pole connectivity. The SDL-350 facilitates live video streaming, telemedicine, in-flight entertainment (IFE), and advanced graphical weather to the cockpit. Track fleet activity globally, automatically detect in-flight events and capture robust data to feed your FOQA, MOQA, SMS, and other operations systems.

SKYTRAC’s innovative IMS-350 UAV Satcom system provides cutting-edge capabilities, broadband connectivity, and limitless applications in a daringly small form factor. The IMS-350 is SKYTRAC’s flagship answer for UAV Satcom capabilities, providing both data link and custom onboard server capabilities for industries looking for reliable, robust, and proven global communications.

SKYTRAC’s DLS-100 is an Iridium Certus midband Satcom data link for UAV’s enabling real-time command and control, telemetry streaming, and photo transfer from unmanned aviation systems. The ruggedized and IP67 compliant modem enables 22 Kbps uplink and 88 Kbps downlink speeds. Designed for use with unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), the cost-effective Iridium Certus modem allows for pole-to-pole connectivity around the globe with 99.9% reliability and stunningly low latency.
