Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) is a global, self-sustaining organization that provides communications, networking events and access to government-certified international aviation manufacturers and educational institutions.

In 2021, the Hilton Anatole is set to host the annual AEA International Convention and Trade Show in Dallas from June 22-25. Since 1957, this event has become the largest general aviation trade show for avionic manufacturers, distributors, and government-certified repair stations. Previously to be held in March, the trade show was postponed due to the pandemic. With the event rescheduled this year, attendees will have an opportunity to reconnect with hundreds of leaders in the industry, including SKYTRAC.

In June, SKYTRAC will be showcasing its lineup of Iridium Certus Satcom solutions, including the IMS-350ISAT-200A-08, and SDL-350. Scheduled for a market release in Q2 and Q3 of 2021, these Satcom systems are positioned to be the first Iridium Certus terminals to enter the market. SKYTRAC is eager to provide more information to its global partners on these terminals, which will enable operators access to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) broadband transfer rates of 352 kbps from and 704 kbps to the aircraft alongside a wide array of new capabilities for the aerospace industry.

For its membership and media subscribers, AEA also provides a list of valuable resources for the aviation industry, including Avionics NewsAEA Pilot’s GuideAEA Wired, as well as AEA Amplified Podcast and Market Report. These communication services provide AEA members and their audiences access to the latest news and product announcements that impact their operations.

The December 2020 edition of Avionics News featured a Member Profile of SKYTRAC’s ISAT-200A-08 and the new SDL-350. The story captured the historical release of these two terminals, which will enter the market in 2021.

SKYTRAC is eager to reengage with the aerospace community At AEA. Find us at Booth 609.
