SkyTrac provides solutions for two-way text communication between the aircraft and the ground over the Iridium Satellite Network.
A Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), equipped with SkyTrac’s STS Messenger software, can send free-form and preprogrammed text messages and receive and display incoming text messages. Examples of supported equipment include BlackBerry and Palm Treo.
SkyTrac’s DVI unit can send preprogrammed and free-form text messages. Our CDP unit can send preprogrammed text messages, send quick messages with fill-in fields (e.g. ETA) and receive & display incoming text messages.
