STS Messenger

STS Messenger is a user interface program that runs on a Personal Data Assistant (PDA) or similar handheld device and allows users to send and receive emails/text messages and make phone calls by using the capabilities of SkyTrac’s ISAT.  To accomplish this, the PDA is connected to the ISAT via a serial connection.  The features of STS Messenger include:

  • Ability to make and receive phone calls
  • Ability to send and receive messages through SkyTrac’s software products (SkyWeb or FlightTrac Suite)
  • Ability to send and receive messages to/from a standard email address
  • A “Quick Message” feature that uses templates to quickly send frequently used messages
